Music written for picture, and sound built to carry it.

Ognjan Milošević writes music and designs sound for picture. Over more than two decades he has scored well past thirteen hundred television intros and promos, seven hundred commercials, four hundred episodes of drama and animation, and thirty short and feature films, for broadcasters, agencies and brands across Europe and the Gulf.

In 2005 he took first prize for music and sound design at the Volkswagen Score Competition at the Berlin International Film Festival, before a jury of Mike Figgis, Walter Salles, Antonio Pinto, Bernd Wefelmeyer and Martin Todsharow. The same year brought the national award for best radio drama, for "The Purple Cow", which he directed, recorded, scored and designed himself.

Films he has worked on have played at Cannes, Berlin, Karlovy Vary, Tribeca and Montreal. "Run Rabbit, Run", on which he was sound designer, took first prize in the Cinéfondation selection at Cannes, screened at Tate Modern and the Centre Pompidou, and is held in the film collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. "Dragan Wende — West Berlin" won best documentary at Trieste and at Max Ophüls; "Soulfood Serbia" took first prize in Warsaw, Karlovy Vary and Los Angeles.

Alongside composing he has run the entire sound department on five television series, supervising production and post-production as well as writing the score. He works from his own studio in Belgrade, equipped for composition, recording, sound design and mixing in both stereo and 5.1 surround.
